The Crusaders

A number of bands have gone by the name "The Crusaders": 1) an American 1970s jazz-soul band 2) a European Oi band 3) an Australian garage surf band who recorded two albums in the late 1990s 4) a Christian garage band active 1966-671) The Crusaders is an American music group popular in the early 1970s for their amalgamated jazz, pop and soul sound. From 1961 to present more than forty albums have been credited to the group (some live and compilations), nineteen of which were recorded between 1961-1970 under the name "The Jazz Crusaders" prior to band name being shortened.
