S.A.S. Band

"Spike's All Stars" - The SAS Band is a rock celebrity 'supergroup' masterminded by Spike Edney - the '5th member of Queen'. Whilst not credited on any Queen album, Spike Edney toured with them and played additional instruments, usually more or less hidden at the back of the stage. Whilst usually a keyboard player, if I recall correctly, he appears on guitar during 'Hammer to fall' on Queen's 'Live at Wembley' DVD. Spike Edney has played keyboards on most solo albums and tours for Brian May and Roger Taylor.
