Lucas & Friends is a found sound project solely perpetrated by Dan Hicks, better known as Pea Hix from bands such as Optiganally Yours or Tit Wrench.Chiefly comprised of recordings picked up in second hand stores, ranging from audio tapes to old home-recorded vinyls, Hix himself appears on the album only as instrumental accompaniment to songs recorded by unknown participants.
