Howard Rumsey
Howard Rumsey (born November 7, 1917) is an American jazz double-bassist in the 'West Coast school' of the cool jazz idiom, who performed with the jazz group The Lighthouse All-Stars with which he made many recordings. Regular participants in the Lighthouse band were Bud Shank, Bob Cooper and to a lesser extent, Sonny Clark. He was born in Brawley, California.
