Garvin Bushell
Garvin Bushell (September 25, 1902, Springfield, Ohio - October 31, 1991, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA).
Though never a major name in jazz, Bushell had a lengthy career from the music's early era, to the avant garde of the 1960s.
He played both jazz and classical music on clarinet, alto clarinet, oboe, english horn, flute, saxophone, bassoon, and contrabassoon.
He was best known as a jazz sideman with people such as Perry Bradford, and performed and/or recorded with many of jazz's great names, such as Ben Webster...
