Ides of Winter

Ides of Winter are a black metal band from Edmonton, Canada formed in 2011, the name inspired by the harsh winters of that region. Members often perform wearing black kilts, furs and other garb meant to evoke a northern warrior aesthetic paired with blue and white corpse paint. The band's official website describes them as the Frost Legion. Lyrics center around prophecies and legends, tortured heroines, madness and the cold of winter.Members perform under stage names:
