Frecuencia Mod

Frecuencia Mod was a girl group from Santiago, Chile, popular in the late 70s. The members were three sisters who started making music in 1975. in their teens. They were very popular in a complicated period of Chilean history; some of their songs such as “Cállate (Ya no me mientas)”, “Duele, duele” and “Yo soy una dama” proved to be very successful, emulating the wave of disco music, popular those days in the States and Europe. In the 80s, they started an international career which took them to Germany, where they released some music in English which wasn't that popular.
