Barry & the Remains

A 1960's garage rock group that became popular in Boston, but after signing to Epic Records in 1964, and scoring regional hits, relocated to New York City. The appeared on tv shows like Ed Sullivan and Hullabaloo, and opened for the Beatles final tour in 1966. After disbanding in 1966, Tashian and Briggs went to California and were briefly members of the Flying Burrito Brothers. Tashian also later went on to play with Emmylou Harris and also perform bluegrass on tour with his wife Holly.
