Bad Astronaut

Bad Astronaut was an experimental/punk band founded in 2000 by Joey Cape, singer from Lagwagon. In Bad Astronaut, Cape explores a new style of pop, with lyrics often about deep and intricate personal matters.Following the suicide of drummer and longtime friend <span title="Unknown artist" class="bbcode_unknown">Derrick Plourde</span> (who was also the original drummer for Lagwagon) in 2005, Bad Astronaut has disbanded. Their third and final full-length album, entitled Twelve Small Steps, One Giant Disappointment, was released in 2006 on Fat Wreck Chords.
